Applying for the Centrelink sole trader and casual payments

If you already have a Centrelink number (CRN) it should be pretty streamlined, you can register from your MyGov account. You just need to link your account to Centrelink, if it is not already linked.

But what if you don’t have a CRN, you can still register your intention to make a claim on MyGov. So I suggest signing up to MyGov if you are not already.

Thanks to a client, we are able to pass on his experience with MyGov, "we thank you for that". It will help others with the process.

"I was able to ‘Register My Intention To Make a Claim’ in my ‘MyGov’ account, by giving my name and contact details. I will then be contacted regarding the next step.,...the webpage said...….. "this may take some time but payments will be back dated to today’s date"
